I remember the first time I heard of someone buying two wedding dresses to wear on the same day. My first thought was they were crazy, and my second thought was they had way too much money. After getting into the bridal industry I quickly began to see the benefit of having multiple dresses in some situations. Now, having two dresses (or more sometimes) has become fairly common. Let's look at some reasons and situations where this might make sense:
Each one might have characteristics they cannot do without. If the budget allows (and with today's many budget friendly wedding boutiques that can often happen), it may make sense to buy one dress for the ceremony and another for the reception.
